Justine & Michael: A Boudoir Experience for Two|Couples Boudoir in Kansas City
“ I wasn’t intending to book a couples shoot…”
I think sometimes the best surprises are the ones we accidentally give ourselves. Justine initially booked her Kansas City Boudoir session at Bodyscape Boudoir for herself as a solo adventure of empowerment and fun. However, an opportunity to celebrate her birthday in a unique and timeless way quickly turned into a couple’s boudoir session when her husband couldn’t help but come to the studio – which, by the way, we absolutely loved!
As women, we sometimes struggle with the idea of giving ourselves little luxuries like a boudoir session. Self-care is an act of investing in our self-confidence and doing things that makes us realize we are, indeed, boss babes who run this world, which is the best description of boudoir. Our goal with every session to help women know their worth, walking out our doors boldly owning the space her beautiful body takes up.
Imagine how much more empowering this moment is when it’s witnessed by the person who loves you most in the world?
“This isn’t something I’d normally do….. But I’m glad we did this together.”
Doing a boudoir couples session is an exceptional experience that often brings a couple closer together. At Bodyscape Boudoir we pride ourselves on our ability to artistically pose our clients to create inspired, portraiture. The ability to capture the love and romance that goes on between a couple during close and intimate moments is something we are passionate about.
As much as women might shy away from embracing the beauty of their bodies is a boudoir shoot, men can encounter the same inhibitions. The cool thing about a couple’s session is that you can explore your boundaries together.
“He had a red rope that he does special knots on…. Taking one of our kinks and turning it into art!”
Justine & Michaels’ session came together somewhat naturally, though Justine has to gently encourage Michael to step out of his comfort zone. Their session showcased one aspect of their dynamic when Michael expertly knotted a silky, sexy, red rope that he delicately laced over Justine’s curves. An interesting and sensual touch to their portraits, the fantasy they share in now becomes artwork they can enjoy for years to come.
As Michael noted, these are more than just portraits: they are memories. For this couple it celebrates a birthday; however, this could also be the time in our relationship right before or after you were married, to mark an important anniversary, or even before you embark on the journey to becoming parents.
“We were really pleased with it…. It’s an investment, but well worth it.”
Here’s the thing: YOU. ARE. WORTH. IT. Boudoir is an investment in your confidence which serves as a sexy reminder of just how good you two look together, how gorgeous the moment is when you come together, and becomes artwork for your walls, or inside a private album, which the two of you can enjoy together for years to come.
